Is Shiraz Electric a licensed electrical contractor?
Yes. Shiraz Electric Inc. is an ECRA/ESA licensed electrical contractor, licence #7013769. Work is done by licensed electricians.
Are you insured and covered by WSIB?
Yes. We carry liability insurance and WSIB coverage. Certificates are available on request.
How long have you been in business?
We have more than 10 years of experience and have completed 300+ projects across residential, commercial and custom-home work in Toronto and the GTA.
Which areas do you serve?
Toronto, North York, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Thornhill, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Newmarket and Mississauga. Larger commercial and multi-site work across Ontario is available on request.
Questions about our services
What electrical services do you offer?
Custom homes and renovations, lighting design and installation, panel and service upgrades from 100A to 600A, Level 2 EV chargers for homes, and commercial electrical work for clinics, retail, plazas, offices, restaurants and mixed-use buildings.
Do you handle ESA permits and inspections?
Yes. As a licensed contractor we file the ESA notification and book the inspection for the work we do.
Do you upgrade electrical panels?
Yes. We upgrade 100A services to 200A, add subpanels for basements, additions and garages, and install 400A–600A services for custom homes. See panel & service upgrades.
Do you install EV chargers?
Yes, Level 2 chargers for detached, semi-detached and townhouse homes, on a dedicated 40A or 50A hardwired circuit. We can supply the charger and install it. See EV charger installation.
Do you work with builders and general contractors?
Yes. For builders and GCs we provide 200A–600A services on new custom homes, temporary construction power and subpanel layouts from your drawings.

How do I get an estimate?
Send your project details through the estimate form and attach drawings or photos. We reply with next steps on business days, Monday to Friday.
What files can I attach to the estimate form?
PDF, JPG or PNG files — up to 5 files, 10 MB each.
Are estimates free?
Yes. Estimates are free, including a site visit when one is needed.
